Started with a large men's t-shirt in a dark navy colour, similar to the one pictured here... I chopped off the arms and collar, so I was left with the now shortened square torso piece. I gather a small section at the top, and secured it with a small piece of inserted elastic. Here's the final piece - see the gathered neckline? The exposed elastic is hidden on the inside of the shirt. I love the uneven, unhemmed bottom - definitely going to leave it rough looking! The shirt can be worn with or without a belt, and is very adaptable to different sizes. Also, it can be worn as is in summer, or layered for winter! I love the piece - it will definitely get some wear, where it wouldn't have as a men's oversized tee. Hope you like! |
