I've gone bag crazy! Here's a bunch of the new pieces I've made and designed over the last month or two...
I found the fabric with this wonderful print at a thrift store, and designed this piece after looking at inspirational vintage Hawaiian dresses. The piece has a cute rounded 'modesty panel' in the front, but shows a little skin with a tie-back cut out back.
The fabric is so bright and pretty, I love how this one turned out! (Does this look like vintage fabric to you guys? It's giving off a 70's vibe to me....)
My first fashion piece to incorporate a wooden ring (which is actually a curtain ring!) definitely looking forward to using those in future designs. Hard to see here, but there are black shoulder straps and the back is just too cute!
Really love how this comfy full length black jersey dress turned out! It can easily work for both formal and informal occasions
Here's a new dress I made to celebrate at the Caribana Parade - a Caribbean Festival in Toronto! The dress is made from stretchy knit fabric, and is my own self drafted pattern. I thought the beaded braids on the back made a nice embellishment!
Only thing about it is that the dress is a bit short... So I made these matching short shorts for modesty's sake! LOL
Hey yall! Forgive my lack of recent posts. I have been keeping busy, just making dresses from recycled (thrifted) fabric - trying out patterns and my own designs!
Here's an infinity dress I made for a friend, and a few of the many dozens of ways it can be styled...
